I saw one of these by the road the other night on my drive home from work. They are breathtaking creatures, though I always worry that they'll run out in front of my van...
Must be nice living so close to nature. The only time I saw a deer that close was at work when I wasn't back from the campus gym to my car There were two deers eating grass...staring at me and wondering if they should run. Too bad I didn't have a camera with me.
Great shot! I love deers. They used to run through my yard on Molokai all the time. And on the golf course too. Happy WW and a very Happy Thanksgiving!

It's still a great shot to be able to get. I only ever get wild deer from a couple of fields away. They seem happy enough until the camera comes out.
