Photo Hunt ~ Memory

This is the home I grew up in which is why I chose it for today's theme. My parents built this home for $25,000 way before I was born. When we lived there, a picket fence graced the front yard (at the top of the little hill near the front door) and the room on the right was a garage. I remember my dad refurbishing a "Woody" in that garage. Within the last 2 or 3 years I was able to go back into the house since it was for sale. As with most things from our youth, it seemed so much smaller. Sometimes I wish we could have bought it but I think that's because of my fond memories.

When I took the top picture, I was not participating in SPH! Several weeks ago when I joined and saw the theme for today, I knew what I had to do....

This is our oldest daughter expecting her first daughter in December(!) with her step daughter who will be a year in January!!! Wheeeeeeee........if you know what I mean.
